What’s in Motion is a blog rooted in the practice and spirit of Forest Therapy. Inspired by an invitation I offer during my guided walks—“What’s in motion?”—this space is dedicated to noticing the many layers of movement that shape our lives.

Sometimes it’s the obvious motions: the sway of a branch, the flutter of a leaf, a squirrel scurrying through fallen pine needles. Sometimes it’s more subtle: the rise and fall of breath, the shift of a mood, the slow unfolding of clarity after a long pause. And sometimes, it’s the movement we don’t yet have words for—an inner stirring, a question coming into focus, or a quiet desire to reconnect with something deeper.

This blog is an extension of my work as a certified Forest Therapy Guide and founder of One Tree Forest Therapy. It’s a place to reflect on what the nature teaches, what slowing down reveals, and what healing looks like when we allow ourselves to be in genuine relationship with the living world.

Through stories, seasonal observations, personal insights, and occasional invitations, What’s in Motion invites you into a conversation—one that begins in the forest but doesn’t end there. Whether you’ve walked with me before or are just finding your way to this practice, I’m glad you’re here.

May this be a space that offers pause, perspective, and gentle encouragement to notice what’s quietly moving in and around you.
